League News 8/1/25

Hello softball friends,

Well here I go taking a stab at doing a “news letter’.

Several things come to mind regarding the league and league play.

First off I hope the Board will go back and seriously reconsider the rules that have been recently implemented change: they’re too confusing. One week it’s this the next week it’s different.

One thing that irritated players is the frequent arguing. If there are umpires , whether it’s base coaches or sitting team members, their call stands !

During this suffocating weather, remember each of us need to help out, either umpiring, being ready to hit or paying attention to what’s going on and step up if needed. There have been too many times just a few folks are doing the majority of the work. This includes cleaning up when we’re finished ! We each signed up for the league and should take responsibility to help the league continue forward.

To our winter residents, I hope things are going well for each of you and will be joining us in several months.
