BOD Meeting Minutes

September 29, 2025


Meeting called to order at 11:20 AM


Present:

Luke, Doug, Gary, Greg, Kerry, and Kim. Larry and Pat via telecon.


Kerry covered the financials, and we are on solid ground.


As of now, there are enough members registered next season to field 4 teams.


We discussed the option of giving the members shorts or shirts. Kerry said it was too late to order shirts with the league logo. Pat suggested purchasing a long-sleeved orange dry fit shirt, similar to the blue ones we now have. The matter will be readdressed at a later meeting.


Kerry suggested to cap the league teams at 13 players. Pool players would fill in as needed. This will make the teams more manageable for the managers. Pool players could also umpire if team rosters are filled.


A few rule changes were discussed and will be posted after the rules document has been updated on the webpage.

Sad News

Johnny "O" Ormsby, a past member of Lakeland Senior Softball, passed away on November 1st in Canada. He was 85 years old.
