BOD meeting minutes 3/31/25

 

Meeting was opened at 12:15 PM

 

Present:

Luke, Pat, Bob, Dennis, Larry, Kim, Greg, Kerry, and Gary

 

Finances

Kerry presented the league finance statement. The league is financially sound.

 

Monday - Wednesday Vote

The league members voted to change our game days to Monday and Wednesday beginning the week of May 5th. We will continue on this schedule until October 31st. Beginning the week of November 3rd, we will revert back to Monday - Thursday.

 

During this six month period (May through October), all members of Winter Haven Senior Softball and Brandon Senior Softball are invited to play with no extra fees.

 

Game Start Time

Beginning May 5th game start time will be 9:00 am, sign in will be 8:30 am.

 

Courtesy Foul

During the May to October period, we are eliminating the courtesy foul rule. Instead, when a batter steps into the batters box, they will have a 1 - 0 count.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 12:45 pm

Sad News

Johnny "O" Ormsby, a past member of Lakeland Senior Softball, passed away on November 1st in Canada. He was 85 years old.
